NC30 fork seals also chain and sprocket

Post by scotjell » Tue Aug 17, 2010 8:36 pm

Bugger thats all I can say! I advertised my NC30 on bike trader the other week had no response and had a guy come out today! Unfortunately this is not a bike I have ridden just a project. i have another NC for riding! Well one of the fork seals is leaking do I have to do a complete strip down or is there an easier way? Or even a guide on here always better than Haynes if you ask me  Also have run out of adjustment on the C&S's where could I get a cheap set to get me out the poop so to speak. i have a splitter etc so no worries there. All advice appreciated.

ive just done my fork seals last week and to be honest if you have the time its a nice, easy, but lengthy job, but also need to set a side a little money for the parts, and time for them to arrive.

oil seals, dust seals, possibly upper and lower bushes, and oil come in at around £65

and you have to take them off im affraid,

drunk munky is selling a renthal chain and sproket give him a shout!

Thanks for the info. I have done the earlier model forks before but not the ones with all the adjustment. I was hoping there would be a quick solution as selling the bike! Will give Drunken Monkey a PM. Cheers
