Re: exhaust canister options
Im having a hard time finding a can that will bolt up. Might have to just get one and try it. Mine has a green kevlar look, does not look good on the bike.... im sure if the pipe was in better shape and not green, I would take the packing out and run it that way. Anyone take the packing out? got a sound bite? :)

Could you not use a tyga slip on? If you dont like the tyga logo you can request to not have it put on.lt1bird wrote:Im having a hard time finding a can that will bolt up. When I recevied my carbon silencer after I forgot to state which side the logo should be on I was a bit pissed off about it but since then I think it looks much better IMO!

Re: exhaust canister options
lt1bird, can you post up a close-up picture of the link pipe where the 2 short springs are fitted? I may believe that this is a possible TSR single can half system. But I may have this incorrect.

Ill get a closer pic....I could use the tyga cansiter... they are out of stock on the one I wanted, plus im not sure I am going to get the sound i want. I want it more like the yoshi pipe. Do folks run the pipes with no packing? How much louder is it?

What type of yoshi can are you after, tri oval or the megaphone gp type?

Re: exhaust canister options
Old pic as much more progress has been done. I own mostly two strokes but the 400 fits in just fine :)
The rs500 has a 485 rz engine, 120hp, bike is 290Lbs. I built another one a few years ago..it was in a modern suzuki chassis, that pig weighed 400LB and it screams....I have not got the pipes finished for the 485 yet...That will be a wicked machine....

That is a very sexy piece of kit, have you got any more pics of the engine?

An NC is for life, not just for Christmas!
