NC30 Reg/Rec problem

Post by theoutsider » Sat Jul 24, 2010 4:09 pm

Right tried today to start my bike,it did start but ran very very rough with loads of backfire,I stopped it cleaned the plugs, same thing, fiddled a bit with the electrics and I got it working right, but If i rev the bike at over 10k there is smoke coming out of the reg/rec(it is standard honda one) now I`ve put a fan on it but it wont sort out the problem it will just hide it.Why on earth does it want to set itself on fire?
