Tight chain link

Post by karl BKK » Wed Jul 21, 2010 12:43 pm

Seems to be a cheap skate option, but would, or have any of your guys replaced a single chain link before.
I wouldn't ask this question if the chain and sprockets were worn to excess, but the sprockets look fine and the rest of the chain runs smoothly.
If i can't find a single link my options would be fit a smaller front sprocket or..........?

Oil the sticking link and grab the chain each side of the stiff link and bend it bend it slightly both ways (side to side, not up and down) to free off the link
