Gearbox parts availability

Post by cal44walker » Fri Jun 25, 2010 9:40 pm

Friend of mine said that new gear cogs are no longer available for the NC30/35. A bit worrying if true as the gearbox on my race NC35 is not going to last forever.

You can still order the parts from david silver but will cost you a fooking fortune (counter shaft gear £70 so for a full new gear box you are looking at £1000s). get a gearbox off someone here and keep as a spare. just incase ;)
An NC is for life, not just for Christmas!

Typically I scrapped a good, serviceable gearbox contents just the other day - "Won't need these any more - been sat here for a couple years now..."

Never throw anything away, ever.
