Hi all
Im a new member so please bear with me.
I have a VFR400R NC30 witch im gonna put a full tyga exhaust system on i just want to find out what jet sizes i should use for front and rear carbs the bike is stock there are no after market parts on no HRC parts on.
I live in South Africa<--- if that helps(diffrent climate and air pressure and what nought)
There are no mods to the airfilter
Tyga said i should look at 118 front and 120rear and the 0.5mm washers for the needels so i just want to make shure if its right before i order the jets
Full tyga system,jet sizes?

Welcome..
Ideally you would get the exhaust fitted and then take it to a reputable dyno shop and have it tested...
As most of us are at sea level the std jetting advice will be way off if you are up in the hills at jo'burg etc..

I reckon you'll be fine going with 118 120 as a starting point. There were some posts on the old forum regarding jetting for altitude in South Africa. This is the only one I could find - worth a read:

Oops, thought you'd be able to see it
A brief synopsis: 118 120 jets seemed to work alright in the end. There are a few South African members on here, I'm sure they can offer you some more advice. Nakes comes to mind?
We've all seen what the 'Jabulani' does at high altitude in South Africa
