afternoon all-
as the title states, im attempting to fit some diamond rearsets....
got the brake side all sorted, but when i come to the gear side, not only does the shift rod appear to be too long, but i also cant get the little twiddly bit (rose joint?) off of the shift arm to try and fit the diamond one...
can anyone help me please?
cheers-
Smoky

Re: attempting to fit diamond rearsets
The rose joint is pressed onto the shift arm and can't be removed without drilling it off. The upside is that if you drill it off and bolt on a new rose joint, you have more options to route the shift rod with spacers to avoid it fouling anything.Smoky wrote:but i also cant get the little twiddly bit (rose joint?) off of the shift arm to try and fit the diamond one...
