attempting to fit diamond rearsets

Post by Smoky » Sat Jun 19, 2010 6:42 pm

afternoon all-
as the title states, im attempting to fit some diamond rearsets....
got the brake side all sorted, but when i come to the gear side, not only does the shift rod appear to be too long, but i also cant get the little twiddly bit (rose joint?) off of the shift arm to try and fit the diamond one...
can anyone help me please?
cheers-
Smoky

The rose joint is pressed onto the shift arm and can't be removed without drilling it off. The upside is that if you drill it off and bolt on a new rose joint, you have more options to route the shift rod with spacers to avoid it fouling anything.
