type 9 ? colour

Post by frosttkd2013 » Sat May 21, 2016 4:54 pm

Just bought a 1992 type 9 NH196K VFR400R3-III quite new to the vfr Should it be the colour shown on vsource.org as mine has vfr in yellow on fairing? Or is the image to shown the design not colour? Engine and frame all match up to type 9.
Trying to put it back to original

Are there Honda codes stamped on the inside of the panels? As is common for aftermarket Chinese fairings..

There's no yellow in any of the standard NC30 colour schemes. Chances are you've got Chinese fairings with the nc35 rt colour scheme.

That's my site you're, er, citing. ;)

I also have a Type9 NC30, and the "VFR" is definitely white. Somebody could have applied yellow stickers to an OEM fairing?
