Forgot to mention it weighs 700grams.
I could have made it lighter but I built it with a core so that there is no flex in it, I don't think its worth saving 200grams and then it moving about when you are coming in to Park bend and braking from 130 mph.

I should think the inner tank can be made for around 1.5kg so a considerable saving over the seriously over engineered stock tank, ive not weighed the old one but it must be well over 4 kg probably more, it feels at least 1 k heavier than my Suzi tank, it's a serious lump of steel.

just had a dig in the post about weight of parts and the RVF tank was over 5.6 kg!!
So for the weight freaks of the forum this will seriously cut the pounds.
