NC30 track fairing on NC24?

Post by willpisme » Sat Apr 19, 2014 8:11 am

Just wondering if anybody had any experience fitting a NC30 track fairing to a NC24?

Thinking of getting these:

It certainly won't bolt straight on but it shouldn't be too much trouble to fit if you make some custom brackets from flat alloy bar or similar.

Front pipes will be easier as NC30 ones are curved to go around the lower rad but the NC24 ones just go straight down as there is no lower rad.

A possible issue might be the collector box as the NC30 doesnt have an undersump collector so it might hit the belly pan, making simple brackets to hold it on will do for a track bike.

The rear seat unit not sure about, seat bolts on in a different way / place, same as the rear seat so probably wont fit / work well.

Is this for a track bike? A cheap set of used nc24 panels might be a better idea?

Im in the same kind of trouble, looking for NC24 track fairings, but not finding any and thinking of NC30 fairings.
Please post the result if you try, or if anyone happens to stumble across some nc24 trackday fairings, i would love to know where!
