Beautiful job, I’m going for kind of the same look. What clip-ons did you use and how does it ride overall now?

My beloved 1993 production year NC31 became some kind of a "project" for me last year.
I've teared it down to a single bolt.
Image

First things first. So I completely repainted the frame, rims, forks etc - sanding plus powder coating

Image
Image

The front rim - original 3" NC31, the rear one - 5" NC42 for ABS rotor ;)
The front rim was also slightly modified for installation of front ABS rotor.
NC42 swingarm was also installed - it took some time to machine some parts, it won't fit by itself.

Fuel tank, fenders was painted in Kandy Apple Red

Image

Side covers were made from scratch with carbon fiber.

Image

The seat was altered and gel-pad was added

Image

Engine was fitted with tunable EFI on original NC42 throttle bodies. CBR1000RR COPs etc
Image

The work is in progress at the moment

Image

And some items for next year

Amazing work and total dedication to this little underrated bike. I think, although the movement on this forum is quite slow, it would be awesome if you took some time and did a new topic about it on here, in English, so it would come up on g00gle when searching  . I read everything on drive2 and 400ccm.ru. Hopefully will do some more work on my SF, and shall be able to share progress of it here. Keep up the good work

I'm working on good description in english, I have one in russian though. In spite of the fact I write a lot in english at work, I make a lot of stupid mistakes when it comes to something personal. I hope I finish it soon.

I use this for regular VMCC runs. 27 years old so eligible for the majority of their events. It has won a centre stand since this picture. Graham

Currently in pieces, engine is with Mike Norman for the full 428cc engine build....after the original bottom end ate itself on the first ride, immediately after getting it all back together....
