spray painting

Post by yeurman » Thu Feb 02, 2012 10:27 pm

How much do you all pay for a fairing paint (spray) job. Up to now, I've only ever done it myself with Halfords spray cans and its costed no more that £80 including all wet and dry paper and all the primer, paint and lacquer.. and thats for the lot, tank. faring, mud guard and seat unit. My finished work isnt that bad as can be seen on my pic web site, but how much would I pay for a professional paint job and for racing, is it worth the extra cost? Just looking for your experience.

not for racing no. do it your self mate. down my way for a full job your looking at 500-900, depending what you wanted like. not worth it for race fairings ay. vinal wrap is another idea. resonably cheap and can give good results.
