I hope to have them here within 3 weeks, and i will do a full review of them.
I have agreed with the maker he will also be privy to the review and can have some input and respond to questions.
For the record, i am buying these as a customer, they are not freebies or gifts, so once i am done with them, will be passed on at cost if anyone wants them or shoved onto ebay at a buy now.

I am curious to know for myself how these kits are compared to the poor brittle stuff a couple of years ago. All part of the service for 400greybike ;-)
what price they coming in at paul?

is this one of the ebay guys youve got in touch with or someone you found through nsr250 forums?

Just shy of 300 quid delivered.
This guy has done a couple of NSR kits and the owners seem happy, so i thought its about time 400greybike did some research of its own to avoid the same old question and unknown answers over and over.
i dont actually need the kit so am happy to pass it on afterwards assuming its not made from dust and fall apart and or complete crap which i very much doubt.
If its any good i will be ordering another for the NSR - funnily enough - in rothmans paint too.

Would rather build up a good rep with someone who can churn out decent work to help others out. besides i think its time someone made a kit for the RC30 now that's not the price of a RC30 itself.

Anyway be a few weeks yet before we get them.

Paul, is this (fairingkit@)a Chinese seller from ebay or someone else doing them in the UK? What pictures or info did you give him on the design of your order?

I got the link from someone who had one done on his NSR, so i approached him asking for a MC28 kit price and if he had anything for the RC30 too, and it got me thinking about the 30/35 and here so instead of buying a 28 kit i bought a 35 kit and asked for a kit based on the original paint sheme.
He did say if i send over my damaged RC30 kit, we would repair FOC and send me another kit too - i guess then he has the template to work from.
These are all from China, and will be posted over once completed.
So in reality i am just another punter from the UK who has ordered a kit but stated i want as close to the OE paint as possible and also for some extra effort in masking off the insides of the fairing - i think it looks shit with overspray everywhere and masking lines
Anyway cant see me getting them before the end of july.

Had a mail from Lun today with a picture.

"Hi Paul

the kit is done, please take a look. Note that the "parts4bike" sticker has been remove. I put it on just for photo shooting purpose.

Thank you"

Paint looks lovely in that light, and pretty faithful to the original. the V panel will need some dremel action to allow the rads to cool, but looking good so far and his communications and ETA are spot on.

When they land i will do a piece by piece report and pics.
