rvf colour of panels

Post by steve234 » Mon Aug 04, 2008 7:27 am

i have a rvf400 and need to get the panels painted as they are all in primer. These were bought this way. Does anyone know what colour the fairings are.
I know the nose cone and mudguards are red. Is the top fairing red and lower white? And also paint codes for it. Its the rr model.
Many thanks

Must have again, it is there...

"...Honda NC35 RVF400RR Code: NH196

White: White NH196
Red: Winning Red R127
Light Blue: Dionisus Blue PB228 * Sticker only on O.E.
Dark BLue: Florida Blue PB182
Black- Tail boards are a satin vinyl and very difficult to paint match! Use B095 Pure black with matting agent mixed in as advised by paint supplier

Honda NC35 RVF400RT Code: NH196

White: White NH196
Red: Winning Red R127
Black: Pure Black B095(or NH1)Sticker only on O.E.
Dark Purple: Purple Porsche 36C * this was never a true Honda colour and the code is the closest found after HOURS of checking!

Black- Tail boards are a satin vinyl and very difficult to paint match! Use B095 Pure black or Honda NH1 with matting agent mixed in as advised by paint supplier

The Yellow RVF logo is also not a real colour. It is bright yellow, almost but not quite dayglo. I'd get a sticker for this from Image works or Morgan Designs...."

Oh yes of course you asked that sorry. Well they are the codes anyway :D

You are right I believe, inside the lowers are white fairings, with decals on them and the mid panels are red with decals.

See here for more info:

http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/part ... ne-spares/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You may need to search RVF in the search option, then scroll down to see the fairings.

Hope that clears it up, if its wrong, some one will recorrect.
