I love that scheme. My first NC was that colour and I painted my track bike in that colour too, just need a load of stickers on it and it'll be bitchin' (now that is all been repaired after my last off)

It's a good looking bike. Are you going to have your wheels done gold?

That is fairly easy to get right! :)
Go for it! In my opinion it would look better with gold wheels, but if yours are mint now, it is a shame to re-paint them! Maybe get a second pair and have that done??? Just an idea. 8-)

A couple of more pics:

Incidently, it'll be 5 years next week (30th) since he passed away. :(

no, thats the scheme they were in (pictured at the top, just a little scratched) see there red, white and blue blue (darker blue), yeh it would be very easy to do and a fitting memorial especially 5 years on.... umm?

plus the bike was raced in the 1991 tt and i was born in agaust 1991 and the bike is a 1991 bike (i believe) it all fits...

does anyone know when the 1991 tt was (which mounth?) cos that would great if it was agaust :)

I think i may go ahead an do this sceme, but instead of haveing rvf on the side il go with vfr in the same style, and might give the front number board a miss, or could make some head light blaks like smev's and go for a white number board, only il have to remove the blanks for everyday riding

The headlight blanks are only stuck on with the little velcro spots that you can buy in Halfrauds so they can be taken off quickly for riding in the evening when it starts to get dark.
