Getting way off topic here chaps, just wanted an input of general ideas of different paint and or bodywork. Maybe some photoshop skills for a bespoke design.

Re: My VFR project - paint/bodywork ideas wanted
If I was starting with a blank canvas and wanted something different from OEM I would go with something based around the scot honda colours (but no logos except honda) or something based around the HRC Fireblade colours. I knocked up a few drawings off a template I got off here and they both suited really well. It would look a bit like a modern type 8 colurscheme if you know what I mean??? Or the silver and black with flashes of white of the scot colours would look great. I also though of getting Brooky off here to do an engine decal http://www.scotracingteam.com/HondaRS25 ... fault.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; these ideas were when I was gonna do a spare set of fairings in the end I got a great deal on some Rothmans fairings that look great.

I have just re-read this thread properly. I reckon the scot style with carbon hugger, infills and mudguard would look ace with the black frame.
And CMSMJ1 I took detailed pictures of every decal and side of the AM/PM bike at motegi. When I get an RVF it's gonna be my project.

If anyone wants some pics let me know I am more than willing to put them up. 99.9% of my posts are tongue in cheek. I have loads of pics and anyone is welcome to them. Someone pm'd me for pics but thought I was serious about not sharing them.

No worries...I don't do proper replicas..I get busy with some rattle cans and beer and then at the end of it Ihave a bike that looks good from 15 feet away and very DIY up close.
