With water and soap you can put grips properly. Bar end fit easily.

.
its much easier to fit a rubber handgrips if you have a compressor. just put the nozzle of the hose of the compressor, apply some compressed air and slide the rubber grips.

I've always used hairspray.
Renthals also have 2 places that you can lockwire them on, I do this on my trackbike.

Get the bolt from the bar end and try and get a few turns on it, then rip the bastard out with a pair of pliers. then you can stick any aftermarket bar end you like up there. Plus you save about 3 metric tonnes of weight!

Re: renthal grips and bar ends
Peel back the grips as much as you can and peer up the handlebar looking for a clip that holds the inner bar end weight inside and it should come out quite easy if it is still in there, it could be broken inside if the bolt wont tighten up.

ah that sounds like the problem, should about 7-8 mm of the grip sit on the bar end weight then thats how everything seems to line up at the moment
