Some of you will remember the PBNI track day from last year on the 9th Sept (my birthday) and my little off after only 4 corners into the 2nd session (don't worry, I ended up taking off the lowers and did the last 3 sessions 1/2 naked ohh-err)
This is how the bike looked,

This was what happened,

and this is how the bike ended up looking,
http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/8476/dsc00175se2.jpg
and it looked like that until today when I finally extracted the digit. The fibre-glassing was done by a mate (thanks Rhory) as I hate that stuff and I did the sanding, filling, more sanding, priming and painting myself.
These are a few photo's of what went on.

So eventually, afer all the sanding was done, I got to painting them up,

And the bike now looks like this,

All I need is the Honda sticker that goes on the belly-pan and it'll be back to normal again.

That's strange, they should work finecalirvf wrote:Can not see any of the images.

Yes mate, if you'd not have glassed them, I'd not have finished them. As for when, well, you know what I'm waiting on, so I'd like to get that fitted and sorted before I do out.royster81 wrote:nice,so when are we going out to wreck the fairings again?![]()

looks good mate, nice paint and f/glassing, glad people still repair things rather than just replace them even if the sanding is a pain in the arse! :) Russ
