The original white paint on the rear wheel of my nc30 has started to flake at one particular point, thought about getting both wheels powder coatted but to be honest apart from the small area that the paint has come away they really are in good condition, just wonder where I can pick up a can off white spray paint to suit the nc30 wheels ?? best to spray the area involved or touch up witha brush ?? any base coatt etc required before I paint the area ??

cheers,

Whichever way you apply the paint won't really matter if it's a small area, getting a proper match might be difficult, but again if it's a small area you should get away with it, and it will look better than flaked paint!

Just use some surface prep cleaner (prepsol etc) to clean the surface and help the paint stick.

A full strip and paint, or powdercoating would be a better option as the existing paint will still probably flake off. Even home job sprayed wheels will come up sweet if you invest a little time prepping and masking.
