Post by samace » Tue Jun 23, 2009 5:44 pm

I am thinking of having my bike resprayed in the standard color. Any body know of anybody that can do a decent job for a reasonable price?

If you look back through the last 2 or 3 pages you will find others who have asked the same question but you also haven't said where you are located

Hi there

I have just restored an NC30 back to its original NH1K Red/ Black Type 7 colour scheme as you are looking to do

It has been done by Lonsdale Bike of Nelson, Lancs and the quality of the job is the best I have ever seen.
It makes Dream Machine and Image works look expensive crap to these guys

I have known Steve the owner for about 25 years and he is so picky he's unreal. Click this link

Cheers, Neil

Hi there,

I believe that the red is 'R134' Fighting red for the R3N model and 'R110' Monza red for the R3L model

When I asked Steve at Lonsdale Bike he said, dunno I'm fucking colour blind.........never did quite work out if he was winding me up or not!

Having said that the colour he did was bob on as he had a small sample,

Only just finished it, so wont get to ride it much now. Started it at beginning of April as a quick wash and clean!!!!

Typical, missed all of summer, and its much too clean to ride in the wet...lol what a wuss, eh?
