and did the 'teks make any difference ?
I use 110/70 for my trackday setup - turns in like you wouldn't believe :D.
OD of tyre (fitted) = 590mm, so clears the lower radiator just fine, even with the forks dropped through yokes.
Not much use on public roads IMO, offers no protection for wheel rims in ruts & sunken manhole covers.

Dave.

maybe he means it's no good on a 3.5 rim rather than the 3 rim

Yep, well done Rhory, that's exactly what I meant.
It looks good & cool, but on the roads round here it's just not a viable option.

oh mate i'd love a set but i have that much on me plate atm,i finally got that stickered bike taxed, moted, insured etc and i'm aiming to get the track bike sorted so i can maybe get a track day in this year, but discs and pads are holding me back and the prices i'm being quoted for 2nd hand discs is making my eyes water ....but i now have a 17 rear for the castrol bike so 'teks and 'mags are back on the back burner til i sort the other things out ....plus an english track day would be nice....i have all ten fingers in ten different pies and i'm going nowhere fast...

Right...

Sell the stickered bike...buy some Magteks, discs and pads....spend the rest on a Donington trackday with me Stace and Stephen RC45 acomodation sorted, I'll even buy the beer.

that is all.

Yup, my bike comes back on the 10th of july so anytime after that and Donington here we come. Can't wait to meet up with Billy again and get some track time in at last.
