If that's an RC30, why does it have a 5-spoke rear wheel, and say RVF on the side? Bit of a mystery, seeing as RVF's have 17in wheels to start with.

The drilled fairings have potential to look awesome, in fact it's giving me ideas as well...

the wheel is a dymag..
I reckon it is RC30 too..too big, not an NC35 as the tail is wrong...

It certainly is an RC30. The 5-spoke wheels are Dymags and it's go a 'Tony Scott' sticker on the seat... Any of our RC experts know anything about this bike???

Personally, I'm not a fan of drilling the fairings, but if it proves that it will keep the bike cooler then go for it.

The scheme looks to be based on the early honda works rvf750's (pre-rc30) when they first got rothmans sponsorship.

thats a great picture,
where are you thinking of drilling mark?
i was thinking of doing some holes down with the bottom rad just behind the front wheel and some more just at the opening of the vent on the bottom panels.

The holes in the fairing of this are for minimising weight I'm pretty sure (rather than cooling), the whole bike weighed in at 138 odd kg's, and more than 145hp! :o Not much power compared to the works RC45's, but a thoroughbred race bike.

Magnesium bodied carbs and the whole shebang surely helped get that weight down....
