Good Evening guys,
I am in the process of sourcing OEM panels for my cbr400 NC29, I have managed to source all panels except for centre panels and bellypan.
This means I'm going to have to use some replica, aftermarket panels... What are better? I was looking into the skidmarx panels but they're made from fibreglass or perhaps some ABS plastic panels from china...
What would you use alongside OEM?
Thanks,
Toby

Re: ABS vs Fibreglass Panels
I'd use the fibreglass as opposed to Chinese ABS, mainly due to strength and quality of skidmarx stuff compared to the cheap Chinese ABS.
But if the ABS was good quality and not thin and delicate like the Chinese stuff then ABS would obviously be a better match

I have hong kong fairings and ill never buy them again, i would go for skidmarx if i was you.
Hong kong/china fairings are way too flimsy and snap/crack easy, and they dont plastic prime the panels before painting so the paint just flakes off.
