RVF Headlight

Post by Psychosomatic88 » Thu Jul 03, 2008 2:37 pm

HI guys,

I have put lan after market fairing set on my RVF now, but only want to put in one head light into it so will need to cut the fairing to fit.

How do I seperate the headlight unit so it is just one lamp there? or how is it done?

Any help would be great, as im running around with no lights on the front now :D

I'm here...

What I did was this:

I just cut the old lens away with a soldering iron and a dremel, Speedy who has also done something similar chopped his light in 2 then made a blanking plate for the side that was now open.

The reason I did it this way is so that it still remains a sealed unit.

Sh1t hot thanks guys so far,

I have got it in half, and taken it to work again today to get a perfect flat put on the open side, then just need to re seal it and create some mountings in the fairings :D
