Believe it or not I did reply to you in this thread and one night I was on here I accidentally swiped delete and instead of cancelling it I pressed confirm. Doh!! But just left it as I didnt have time to type it back.

So basically I said they are great, the feel just like the original pipes, no real difference, no holes or flat spots, maybe even a tad more torque but its hard to gauge without swapping pipes again. Also very importantly no horrible Zingy sounds that seemed to be on cheaper stainless pipes. So it did indeed end up being fit and play.

Fitting was a tad harder due to trying to fit two sections together and lining them up, the can was only a millmetre clearance at the swingarm, I tried moving it up and down the pipe, twisted it etc.. Eventually I put two stainless washers between the centre brackets and this was enough to give me good clearance at the swing arm. It also sounds a tad different, more meaty, really nice. I guess that's because of the straight through link pipe. I also note more engine braking but its not bad.

Expensive but worth it, I wish I had gone that route a lot earlier as I have spent at least that buying various pipes over the years.

Excellent Dave, I'm glad they are as good as you were told. And not much trouble with the fitting either

Does anyone know this system - I think we bought it in 2003...
Its stainless steel & works pretty well - PDQ's dyno gave us 64bhp

What's people's thoughts on this system. Customer of mine has just bought it.
Black chrome, individual headers with sprung collector. The can is remus but isn't original.

Reminds me of moriwaki emu system but without the powerbomb in the linkpipe

Yeah I’d say that’s Moriwaki, looks just like one I used to have

Done my research and yeh it is a moriwaki mk2 system

In really good condition now I've got it. A little bit of a rub down and some rust cure on the surface corrosion and it looks new.
I binned the 3 tonne remus can, repaired the exhaust slip-on end as it has been cut. Welded a 54mm stub on and paired it with a nice art race can.
Looks mint.
