Alternative switchgear nc30/35
Bought a rvf and realise my vfr had same problem of non working indicator switch on left clip on. Is there another bikes switchgear that you can replace it with?

they respond well to pulling fully apart and cleaning with an electrical contact cleaner. No other switch gear is a direct fit, but you could make anything work.blanc wrote:Bought a rvf and realise my vfr had same problem of non working indicator switch on left clip on. Re: Alternative switchgear nc30/35
as mentioned nothing fits directly on but i modded an r6 unit to fit. Doesn't take too long but you need to be aware that the nc30 one shares lives to various parts of the switch whereas the r6 unit has 1 live per function. All you need to do is splice a few wires and swap them about in the connectors a bit (which look identical to the nc30 one) and it'll work fine. Takes a few hours of head scratching with a multimeter though!!
