Wouldn't be anything to do with emissions laws do you think?

So I'm looking at my NC30 by the oil filter and I noticed there are two places on the engine block where you could hook up lines for an oil cooler (there's no lines there right now). Looks just like a UK spec block.

This isn't on all NC30's because I looked at pictures (see link) of another NC30 engine and they weren't there on that one. http://jpegbay.com/gallery/001758883-.html#9

Is it possible for me to run an oil cooler if I get an NC24 oil pump?

That pic does not show the take off points. They all have them. Yes, apparently you can run the cooler if you drill the blanks and fit an NC24 pump.

Why the need for the nc24 oil pump, does it have a different oil path or just run at a different pressure?

as posted in the original post

"Oil pump uprated to cope with cooler Same as NC24 item, 2 circuits, one for oil distribution inside the engine, other for cooler."

Yes it has another circuit to feed the radiator.. otherwise the oil wouldnt: go up the radiator with the NC30 pump, it would just slosh aroud by the pipes

Hi,

RE: the numbers of NC30s in the UK, can this website be trusted to at least show how many are left?

http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/honda_vfr400r-l
http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/honda_vfr400r-m

If so theres only 200-300 NC30s currently on the road. Its hard to believe that there were 2500 of them registered in the 90's and 90% are now gone.

Maybe I've missed something here?

Cheers
Matt
