Anyone got a left-hand mirror to sell?

Post by topper » Tue Mar 17, 2009 11:13 pm

Bit of an incident tonight - dropped it on the left when my jeans got stuck in the peg. Yes, amateur I know...

Very nice that the mirror took the entire force of the drop though - not a scratch on anything else.

Just wondering - has anyone got a LH mirror lurking about that they want to sell? If not, does anyone know if there's any difference between pattern and genuine parts?

i don't have a mirror for you but can give some insight into the pattern mirror VS. OEM.
the pattern mirrors have indentations taken out of the stem of the mirror, whereas a genuine one has a full oval shaped stem, with no indentation. other than that, they are the same, both have the limited adjustment.
a picture tells a 1000 words, so i'll see if i can find any.

I think I may have one lurking around some where. I'll let you know mate.

Cheers, appreciated. Have already been offered one by PM, but nothing concrete yet.

Not yet mate, the one via PM turned out to be for an RVF. :( So I'm all ears, let me know please.

Still, the last few days have been a good exercise in lifesavers.
