I'v ridden both and I can say without a shadow of a doubt, the NC24 is a much better experience, the noise is better, the low and mid range is better, and frankly, it's more different :D

I'd say the NC23 is possibly worth a bit more, although it's not in original paint so worth less because of that.

The NC23 feels more modern to ride, better in the corners but possibly slower.

Your bike looks in good condition, and they sound better.

If you fancy a change then why not, otherewise stick with what you've got.

there are a few problems with my bike at the moment it needs the fork oil seals doing it needs a new battery and the collector box needs doing i have told him all this and he said that the only things wrong with his bike is that he has had it on its side down the road and the fairing is damaged but he has got a set of faring coming for it i think he said they are track fairings that are coming for it he said he will give me cash aswell as his bike for mine but the only problem i have is that he lives in birmingham and i have no way of getting there so i am waiting to see if he will come to me if not then i will see if i can find a nc23 closer to me

Fork seals and battery are easy to do but the collector box is a pig of a job as engine has to come out  you will have to get someone to make a new collector box as they cannot be got new anymore and there is no point in second hand as they will most likely be rusty too.
why not try to do it up a bit as these bikes are getting rare now and could soon become collectors items.
My one is 21 this year (The 23rd one made according to frame no.)
heres a pic.
