What would you guys do? NC35
Ok, so After moving to S. Kr. I purchased a NC35…because my Daytona 675 was having engine problems and i needed to get back on the road. After a few attempts at repairing the Daytona, it seems like the engine issue isn’t going to be fixed.
That said, I’ve been thinking about what to do with the 675. It’s a 2013 Daytona 675. My options seem to be:
1. Part it and sell it for parts (I don’t have a garage, and not sure if the place the bike is stored at right now would let me use their space/tools, but I do have a clean area around the back of my building I may be able to use…maybe)
2. Sell it as is (got a potential buyer, a guy from the US Army)
3. Gut it, and use some of the parts for the NC35 and try to sell the rest.
Did a little research, and it looks like the front end could fit on the NC35.
The 675 has 41mm front forks with 110mm of travel, and I’ve read here that someone on the forums was using Daytona forks on their nc35.
Question is: Could I just transplant the front end to the nc35? Tire, Brakes, Forks, triples, clip-ons, controls?
Since none of the other parts would fit, I would need to gut the rest, and sell it for parts at that point.
So, what would you guys do?
