2013? 2014? What's up with you chaps? I start getting withdrawal symptoms if it's been more than 2 weeks since I've had one of the bikes out, which is why I can't bear to SORN them over the winter. And we all know these bikes need to be used and the heap of problems that can arise if they're just left.
Yes, CMSMJ1, get your finger out!
I do ride on track - I did the Longest Day Down Challenge in 2014 - and that killed dead my desire to ride on the road.

Have spent Β£2k on the NC last year to get it fully refreshed and sorted and have been on track with it since. I have a GSXR1000 for track duties at moment though and goingt o Cartagena next month for 4 days...then 2 days Angelesey, then 3 days Portimao, then another 2 days Anglesey...

I do miss, a bit, riding on the road and would like to semi retire the NC from being ragged on track. no9 i old and deserves a little chillng out time rather than always on the throttle stops and revving his little arse out!

I am on the lookout for an undertray so I can fir a standard seat - I now CRM had one and I will go call for him in the summer for collecting it (or when we meet in Anglesey in April) - after that, I have new BT090s and might have to try and find my speedo and headlights!

I saw the thread title and wandered in. I've had my vfr400 for a while now. Rode it once, its not registered, I'm the second owner, and I'm in the U.S. I'm sure to do it this year, but I've been busy since she's arrived. She's all in parts because of body panels and a ticking sound in motor as I remember.πŸ€” Last time I did work on it, I was shocked by touching the frame. I put it in the back of the shop so I could just ride other bikes. This spring is dedicated wrench time finally. Its been 10 years... I'll have more info as soon as I pull her out to dust her off. Oh ya, shes a 1989 and She came from lancashire... πŸ˜‰

10 years! I thought I was bad leaving my NC35 untouched for 6 weeks because it's playing up and has been relegated to the naughty corner at the back of the garage.

Short story. The original owner, is 'Paul Smarts nephew, John Smart'. I dunno if thats true or not, but that what was said. I lost touch with him about 5 years after. (And she only has 12,000 miles)

My Repsol CBR 400 NC29 has been road legal since last years Isle of Man TT visit. I rode it a little bit last week, I am mainly using my diesel Civic at the moment.

This ULez CRAP is forcing me to sell it unless the ULEZ extension is cancelled
