Can anyone tell me how to de-restrict the speedo ,is it a big job.

Are you referring to the resistor that needs to be installed once the speedo is removed?

Either fit a 2.2k resistor on the orange brown for your easy solution - have a look on here for "resistor mod" or get busy with your money/speedo disassembly :)
