Hey, looking into case savers / crash protection for my rvf400. I've seen a few goodies including the Tyga carbon ones. If I could get some more information / ideas from you guys that would be great.

Whatever you do, don't drill holes in your fairing! They're too valuable, although we've all seen bikes where it's been done.

No wasn't planning on it . Just needing a good setup that will pass the scrutineering at the track. Maybe a home made setup might be the go.

It's a tough choice some crash bungs do more harm than good might help protect bodywork frame at slow speed but can also burst cylinder head mounts or lower crankcase mounts and in worst case dig in flipping a sliding bike over .

The Tyga units work a treat and aren't badly priced.

It's also possible to weld some additional material to the engine cases or fabricate your own case savers that mount using the existing engine bolt holes.

There isn't really a lot available for these bikes though, so if you're looking for off the shelf I recommend Tyga.

No I just posted them as alternatives to Tyga, which I think is more cosmetic (could be wrong though). GBracing is involved in high level racing and I think their approach/solution for the NC30/35 a bit more rigid/functional in case of a spill.

They do cost dearer though.
