Rvf of vfr

Post by TURK122 » Sat Feb 04, 2017 8:16 pm

Hi all
I've been for a while but not been very active.
I have had rs 250, rgv 250, tzr 250 and nsr 250 over the last few years but I'm selling up the strokers and going 4banger v4 now.
I definitely want a rvf of vfr 400 next but having never owned a 4banger before I'm seeking advice.
I want a v4 well because it's a v4 and from what I've read there screamers that love to be reved just like the smokers iv always had. So please tell me your opinions, experiences and pros/cons.
Thanks
TURK

So please tell me your opinions
NC30 is a better all round bike than the sexier looking NC35.

Nc30. Both do the same things but the nc35 is more expensive, buy a cheaper nc30 and spend the extra on decent suspension
It's not having what you want but wanting what you've got....Loud ,Proud and Modified ....

Either, find one that is in the best condition within your budget.

I've had both at the same time at one point; soon sold the NC30 and kept the NC35; don't plan on selling it either!
Both can be equally good, it depends on condition and equipment. If a VFR has good suspension and brakes and bodywork in decent condition, it'll be a better option than an RVF with 20 year old suspension etc. Of course if you can find a cheap enough RVF and invest some time & money in getting it sorted, then that may be the best option; assuming you prefer the look of the NC35 better.
One thing to keep in mind is that the RVF has a 17" rear wheel; that makes it easier to get decent tyres for it. The VFR has an 18" rear wheel.
When the mind is relaxed, the body will go faster! 8-)
