Re: Quick release front wheel spindle
Would this work on RVF front end/wheel?Timon wrote:Got some prices done.
But I still need to get my hands on one to make sure it all fits as it should
then work on the drawings for the RVF
The spindle as a kit are looking to be about the £235 mark plus postage, (this number allows me to recoup my initial outlay)
It would include
VFR front captive front wheel spacer rhs
VFR front captive front wheel spacer lhs
RH fork shim
RH nylon bung
LH nylon bung
VFR spindle
LH fork insert
Socket guide cup (anodised red)
No coating on the spindle is included in this price.
Still interested chaps?

Re: Quick release front wheel spindle
Bit to much for me timon,but....does the spindle have to use the captive spacers you supply or can you use standard(ie ti captive on mine)??can you just supply nut/bungs/spindle or even spindle on own to get cost down??pm if you like.cheers

Re: Quick release front wheel spindle
Yes the spindle etc can be used with standard spacers.
That's not a bad idea to reduce the cost, captive spacers are already available through Rick.
I'll see what that does to the kit cost.
