New here, couple of questions!

Hi,
Got my NC30 delivered today! went for a quick blast to see how it was running, so a few questions...
-It seems that I cant get it into neutral whilst the engine is running, is this going to be a major job to fix?
-At what revs should the bike idle at?
-What tyre pressure should the tyres be at?
-How do I attach a picture to this post lol?

It's a common problem struggling to get the bike into neutral, you have to rev the bike up to around 3-4k revs and then put it in neutral. It should idle at around 1.3k, and both tyre pressures are 33psi.

If neutral doesn't engage, just roll the bike forward slightly, (20cm) and try again, if still not then rock the bike backwards and forwards.
Had this problem on another bike but going from neutral to first, someone explained it to me, something to do with things lining up!
Mine idles between 1500 and 2k
Tyre pressure i dont know off top of my head (Haynes manual?)
To attach a picture it must be uploaded some where first ie public facebook, photobucket, flickr. then you put the images direct link in the [img] brackets that can be inserted when you are in a full post editor.

Most likely its in need of a good service.
They should idle smooth like a fine swiss watch, even down to around 800rpm.
Most likely in need of
1. valve clearence check and set
2. carb flush and clean and check set
3. carb balance.
Time intensive (allocate a day to to the job) and youll need to buy shims and the tools if you dont have but the bike will run great afterwards.
Many young people buy the bikes as they are popular "mini racer" but dont have the time or money or knowledge to service them (A garage will charge aroudn 500 quid to do the above)

I had trouble finding neutral when I first had my NC35. It started playing ball when new clutch plates were fitted. I don't know if this was a coincidence or not, mind you!

Just a slight 'blip' of the throttle and nutral will drop in fine - Just a bit of a quirk of these bikes.
A good service would be well worth the time and money so you know for sure the bike is properly sorted (safe) and as has been said, one done these will run so nicely. Where abouts are you located Matt? - See if there is anyone else on here nearby who may be able to lend advice/tools/helping hand
