Night time dashboard? (sorted)
When I'm riding with my headlights on i can hardly see my dashboard, especially on poorly lit roads. Is there anyway to fix this? Ie LED installs or luminescent paint/clock covers?
I'd prefer not to get a digital dash yet, if ever.
Cheers
Ben

Re: Night time dashboard?
Maybe some of the bulbs have gone? I'd check those first

Re: Night time dashboard?
Start with the above suggestion of the bulbs, mine is realyl bright and easy to see at night, I think perhaps some of the bulbs have gone, theres 3 or 4, easier to get too if you take the nose cone off, there on rubber type plugs that pop out.
Get the wattge from the book not the bulb as many people often fit incorrect bulbs (either too bright or too dark) in there.. perhaps 1.7w is right, I cant recall

Re: Night time dashboard?
Is there an on/off switch for these bulbs? I've not had the bike long so may just have been a newby error!

The bulbs come on when you turn the lights on. If you check them and some of the bulbs are gone (must admit, I never checked the dashbulbs), drop me a text and I'll send some over to you.

Re: Night time dashboard?
Got some from Halfords, bit smaller bulbs than the ones previously fitted but work fine (they are the correct W etc.) , just need to make sure they were secure before replacing into clock
