which brake line setup

I am looking to replace the brake hoses on my nc29 for braided lines, should i buy road or race setup?
i am currently using for road riding with possible trackday use.

Well i think race would be safer in the off chance one leaked as i assume you would have at least one brake for a while at least. With a single link set up there would be no chance and it would be lever to the grip time. I suppose that would be rare in modern setups.

Triumph still use split lines, over mudguard type, hence crap brakes.
Best option by far is the twin line setup, providing you can fit them on your master cylinder without fouling the bodywork or clocks on full lock.

Yeah i use the venhill race style, although they are ok i thought the nearside line could have been an inch longer. I also used a little stainless block connecter bought from ebay around the front of the headstock to help stop them chaffing or moving around. Finally making my own clips to keep them in place near the fork. The worst part was bleeding them as air was constant. I ended up back bleeding them with a syringe, once working i bleed as normal.
