What are NC30 panels worth?

Post by RandomDan » Mon Feb 18, 2013 7:35 pm

When i bought my NC30 it came with all the original panels in primer.
There are some repairs to the left side middle and rear.
I cant really see the point in keeping them if they had any value.
I doubt they do but i thought id ask, if they have no real value ill put them in the loft lol
So whats it all worth?

In primer not as much as an OEM scheme. However, if they are genuine Honda panels they'll be worth keeping in the loft for another couple of years. If you're not desperate for the money, I'd hang on to them :peace:
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

I thought as much lol
I was toying with getting them spray up and get them on the bike as iv got Chinese panels on atm.
The only problem with that is the Chinese ones actually fit really well so i dont see the point.

Even so do they have a value?
It would be nice to know what im sitting on.

Good solid nosecones will probably go for 40-60, mid panels 10-25, lowers 30-40 each, tail panels arent really worth much i have 4 fairly decent ones that failed to sell at 15 each so im keeping them and finally a good condition v panel can go from between 10-25.

Those are prices that i have bought and sold panels for over the last 6-8 months all unpainted but in fairly good condition.

Yea i think thats about right maybe a little more if they are completly undamaged. Definatly worth keeping them if you ask me i would have stored them away if i didnt need the money.

I have a full set in my loft, some damaged, some not which I think I paid £120 for in total. But I did get the seat panels and mids with a bulk buy of NC30 parts off eBay and sold the bits I didn't want and made my money back plus kept the panels I wanted :peace:

Just don't go paying over the odds for stuff on eBay ;)
