I'm checking this unit next week
What should I look out for to see if the bike is in good condition?
Thanks!

Well if possible take someone who knows his way around a bike as theres a lot to take in. First does it come with the original can as chances are it wont pass an MOT with the one on. The rear panels if you havent noticed are not oem, just pointing that out im sure you have noticed anyway. Sit on it it does it look bent or feel unusual. Press on the forks are they working correctly and not too soft, same with the rear. Brakes ok and not binding, press on the brakes let go and wheel it forward to see any stiction. While your at it check the pads. Tyres are they ok? How does the engine start, was the bike warm before you arrived? Does the bike tick over cleanly once warmed. Do the lights brighten when you rev the bike as charging problems are common. All documents present and correct?
Anyhow theres a few things to cosider im sure theres more.

No problem, im surprised no ones added their thoughts. Anyway the bike looks good but take notes on any pointers you can think of as its easy to let your heart rule your head. Im sure if you google buying a bike there will be a multitude of guides. More than i can type in on my small phone anyway.
Specific nc29 problems are soft suspension, regulater rectifier/ charging problems and on the odd bike second gear selection. Ohh and try for a good deal, try not to pay over the odds.
Good luck

I actually quite like that.
I bet that pipes going to be bloody loud though - loud is fine for a bit, gets very fatiguing after a while. often quieter pipes do better in the midrange too - and a IL4 400 needs all the help it can in the midrange.
