Rad hoses - Samco or Alternative
Morning folks
Was having a plunder online looking for hoses to go with my new curved Chinese rads.
Obviously Samco option popped up but so did cheaper alternatives such as GPI.
Anyone had experience with these?
Obviously quality won't be as good as Samco, but wondering if they're worth a shot?

The guys at Swansea college are running on both their NCs the GPI rads and Hoses and they feel they are spot on for the money.

Spot on! Thanks for that. Good enough for them, then good enough for me espec seeing the bike realistically won't be out very much.scotjell wrote:The guys at Swansea college are running on both their NCs the GPI rads and Hoses and they feel they are spot on for the money.

How long have they been around? They are certainly very tempting at the price, but I'd be a little concerned about finding out that they suddenly turn into mush in three or five years with inevitable consequences.....

Personally those cheep hoses are not cheep enough to take a punt on , thing is with a trusted brand such as samco or roose you know you can just fit them and forget.

Agree and you run the risk of being charged vat and parcelforce ransom charges on top of the £50 not much of bargain after all.marcus57 wrote:Personally those cheep hoses are not cheep enough to take a punt on , thing is with a trusted brand such as samco or roose you know you can just fit them and forget.

Personally if they are made from the same product ie silicon and the same standard I'm sure a bit of white print saying "samco" won't make them any stronger? But hey everyone is entitled to an opinion and have unlimited funds
