NC29 side stand vs NC35

Post by J.B. » Wed Jul 11, 2012 1:09 pm

Can anyone tell me how much longer the NC29 side stand is compared to an NC35?

Thanks in advance and sorry if this has been asked before,

Jimmy

No one? Righteo then, I'm going ahead with a 1-off NC35 side stand made from 7075, +22 mm over standard length.

Will post pictures if it works out ...

I put an nc29 stand on my nc30 which fixed up the lean angle nicely (raised rear over standard).

I posted up the info here and if I recall it was only good for 30's, I think the 29 and 35 stands are a similar length.

In case it's useful, here a CBR900 92-99 stand that I used on my raised CB-1.

Hey Ben,

I just picked it up last week but I have been seriously busy rebuilding my "new" RC31 so I haven't got around to fitting it yet. I'll post some pictures shortly. It LOOKS the business ... we'll see if it works or no ...
