Nc29 wheel on a nc23
Guys,I have done the conversion and the sprocket carrier is rubbing on the chain adjuster..any ideas ??

Cheers jim but it's not that straight forward..the disc side is absolutely fine..it's the sprocket side that is a mess,,it's churning metal of the sprocket carrier at an alarming rate ..

Something is not right. Are you using the NC29 wheel spacers?

yeah you are missing a spacer there, its not big but there is one on both sides.

That looks like an NC23 sprocket carrier - you need an NC29 one.

Jesus wept when he saw that picture and heard that you'd ridden a motorcycle without doing a basic shakedown such as spinning the wheel on the stand. That could very easily have sheared. Your sprocket carrier bearing is now knackered, not that it matters as you need an nc29 carrier anyway.
