Would you swap an RVF400 NC35 for an RVT1000 RC51??
Hi all!!
As per title, would you?? i have the chance of swapping my nc35 for an rc51. I havent ride the the rc51 never so i cant compare. obviosly there is an enourmus hp diference but what would you do?? The RC51 is an v twin no?
Could you tell me pros and cont of this??
Will this (the RC51) became a collectors bike as the litle nc??
My bike has a lot of mods, is no way near standard and the Rc is inmaculate all standard...

In Australia I would swap 2 rvf's for even an sp1. Probably in the Uk also.dengus wrote: Will this (the RC51) became a collectors bike as the litle nc??
Could be a different story if you're in the USA, roadgoing rvf's are hell scarce and might eventually be worth more.

I cant speak for spains prices but here in the UK id say thats a good deal, top money for a RVF here is £3k and thats if you can find someone to pay that for one, a 06 SP2 is worth well above that.
RVT is a VTR, same beast just different name for the US market

RC51 is an SP1 by any other name
RC52 was the SP2
Depends if you want a newer, bigger bike? I'd not swap my NC30 for one...but my bike is a very good friend and I could be without. I'd possibly swap my other bikes though...

Depends on how much the RVF owes you.
You can always buy another one, price wise the RC51 is probably worth more physical money than your current bike providing it isn't wrecked.
Depending on condition of both bikes, but presuming they were both stock and in decent condition then i'd swap, but I like the feel of both bikes, best to take it for a ride if possible and make your own mind up.

Depends on what you do with the bike. The SP will use significantly more fuel, be even less comfortable etc.
How tall are you? The SP is much bigger too.
The SP would be my choice.
