Im about to start changing the piston rings on my nc35 and just looking for any advise before I start, ive rebuilt my yz125 before but never tackled a v4.
Ive the engine out and degreased and haynes manual (and a new kettle) at the ready, just looking for any advice from you guys who have done this job before.

The Haynes manual should steer you pretty well through the procedure, maybe watch a few Youtube videos on piston ring replacement to get a better idea of what you're up for.

My 2 bits of advice:
1- Buy a shedload of sandwich bags and a permanent marker. Then bag up each part + it's corresponding fasteners as you take it apart and label it.
2- Take loads of photos of all the components before and after dissasembly. It'll be invaluable when you stick it back together!
