Well the boys NC24 collector box has gone and blown apart on all 4 spouts on the front of the collector box. They seem to be unobtainable except from David Silver spares,
The question is I think it needs an aftermarket silencer fitted so is the stanard downpipe needed to be cut to allow an aftermarket can to be fitted ? If so what cans can be fitted with a minimum of hacking about? anyone got any ideas please , ie what diameter etc
cheers
scoots

Re: NC24 exhaust system
Oh dear.
Collector boxes are around 200gbp and you have to remove the engine to change it.
You can buy an aftermarket link pipe for around 30gbp that will fit in your collectorbox and allow you to put any appropriate sized end-can on, much easier than hacking the original.
