Anyone fitted one to an NC? Was it easy? Which brands do you reccommend?

Ive seen a couple and have asked the same question before, i got about as much of a response as you josh. The racers forums might be a better place to ask.

Cheers mate. Seems odd to me. Surely if theres one bike that really needs keeping in the power it's a high-revving one with very little power even at peak?.

The ignitech CDI's have an input for a quickshifter and im sure in was Rick oliver that told me he'd experimented with just a rocker switch mounted somewhere on the gearshift that triggered the cdi input. Your not gunna get the hydrulic push or pull you get with the fancy quickshifters with that system tho.

Fancy quickshifters are only bike-specific because they plug into the loom to make it all easier and more reliable though aren't they? I don't really know what mean about hydraulics?

I thought something like transolgic's

"TLS-QS4SBK1-12GPPUSH - 1dn 5up road pattern - Universal Quickshifter system for older twin ignition coil engines featuring spaded terminals or simple 2 pin plugs, not stick coils"

TBH i dont know much about them but dont they have a small hydraulic piston that pushes or pulls the lever when you change gear??, my mate had a dynojet one on his ZX10 and it was pure mental, just pin the throttle and hold on.

Rick
Jeffs not got a quick shifter fitted,he's got a electric gear change motor, worked from buttons on the handle bar due to a f%cked left leg.
i dont know if he can keep the throttle pinned,as when we've raced together he's always been behind me
(sorry about that jeff, just had to put it in)
