I've seen these on eBay, has anyone tried these or any of the other ones on there?

Re: Arashi brake discs
I know Rick O sells these, so I would think they must be pretty good for the price! I however stumped up the extra and went with EBC's on my racebike

"EBCs are OK in my experience, OE are obviously the 'proper' option but
they are nothing special.
My other alternative is those Arashi discs... a very nice quality product
for the price as the attached pics will show."

Re: Arashi brake discs
I wouldn't having gone through the ordeal that i did.
I bought some through Rick O. They looked great and were a good price. But when i fitted to my bike they had a horrible wobble under braking. I looked down while riding and could see them wobbling. No side to side but up and down as in the center hole and bolt holes had been drilled eccentrically. When i got them off and some calipers out i measured that the hole was 1mm out of center. After i got them sent back direct to the factory they sent me some new ones. I thought that they would be fine as they assured me that they had checked their stock thoroughly. When i got these ones out i measured them up again and guess what, again eccentrically drilled holes on both discs. so 4/4 of the discs i got from them were unusable. The wheel is perfect and my other discs were replaced because they were below the wear limit and had a slight buckle.
Got my money back and went with some lovely Galfers and had have had no problems.
All in all Rick O was great to deal with. However the discs were not.
Ill get some pics up of the wear patterns on them

Especially on the last two where i got that side lined up better you can see the different areas where the wear occurred.

Re: Arashi brake discs
I have sold quite a few pairs of these discs and Harvey`s are the only ones which have given any problem.
Arashi did hold their hand up to a bit of faulty machine setting but then f*cked up completely by sending Harvey a replacement disc from the same bad batch which has left him with a jaundiced view, them embarrassed and me out of pocket in all directions.
Barring that one glitch I would say that the finish and build quality of the Arashis is on a par with OE Honda discs.
BTW, Harvey - when we last spoke in May you were going to ship those discs back to me...

Re: Arashi brake discs
I'm loving the look of the round ones, not fussed on the contoured ones
