Post by Man_Named_Dave » Fri Oct 14, 2011 6:02 pm

Anyone know anywhere online that I can get shims for the engine valves? I haven't got a response from Rick-O and I wanna crack on with things.
Cheers.

I've got a ton of shims. Any idea what sizes you need?

7.5mm diameter (naturally), 2.30mm and 2.35mm thickness. You're a bit far away though

I'm pretty sure I've got those sizes. How many of each do you need? Say, 95p each inc postage?

Having said that, if you're in a hurry a UK source might be best. There's been quite a bit of flooding between Chiang Mai and Bangkok and I don't know if that will delay the post. So far, the post seems normal. I've had two packages and one letter from the UK in the past week. Two took four days, one took ten days (an NC30 RHD engine cover, so a bit larger than average). From here to the UK, letters usually take 5-7 days. If you're happy to wait, let me know how many shims you need and I'll get them in the post asap.
