Hey guys new to the vfr's picking my new 1 up sunday got it at good price is there anything i need to look ouy for with these bikes? she will be bike No2 my main is a tl1000r suzuki mega want something a little more sensible Phil

Howdo..

Well, theya re usually spot on but;

1: charging system fails..so worth checking the reg/rec and the connector blocks associated with it (also good to check the charge rate)
2: shocks are usually old and tired
3: chain adjusters are battered by dickheads with screwdrivers
4: setup badly with chopped airboxes etc.

You'll find out soon enough I am sure!

Tell us what the "good price" is and we'll go from there. A few key issues could turn a good price into a mugging. Let the 400GB crew help you avoid this happening. :grin:

£750 taxed and tested, so far few bits to do fixed indicators, new clutch cable, fix knochy clutch- worn basket, full service, change all fluids general TLC
